Tomatin tonight drew last blood of the 2008 season with a deserved 3-1 win over Cromdale in the Tomatin Utd Cup Final. Goals from David Ross (OG), Duncan Forbes and Peter Fraser offset by a consolation strike from David Ross in the right net were enough to lift the inaugural trophy.

The season has now come to an end, however this website will continue to operate throughout the year, so if your club has any news, fixtures or results to report, let us know and we'll share it with the wider community.

Feel free to discuss these games on the Association's new FORUM which, as has been mentioned before several times, is in need of participants.

FORUM NO MORE?

It would be fair to call the response to the Association's new online forum disappointing to say the least.

The forum was created specifically to give clubs and supporters a facility to discuss everything and anything, as well as just for keeping in touch with each other. Only a child's handful have signed up so far, and if this doesn't improve the forum won't be viable and will simply ahve to be scrapped. This would be a great loss to everyone as it really will be a valuable communication tool.

So click here to sign up, or else click the link on the left hand column of this site.

The David Ritchie & Sons League shield was finally presented tonight in Carr-bridge, and it'll be the first time in 22 years that it won't be leaving the village again.

Whilst the League campaign may be over, the Tomatin Utd cup was just beginning, and tonight saw RBL play hosts to Cromdale. And it was the end of the line for RBL in 2008 as they went out the competition 3-2. Winners Cromdale now face Tomatin Utd in Tuesday's semi-final.
